Career School of NY, Inc mission is to provide high quality training in a skilled trade, to build personal self-confidence, to assist with employment opportunities and to accomplish all of this with a special emphasis towards meeting students’ individual needs.
Career School of NY, Inc. is licensed by New York State Education Department and Accredited by Council on Occupational Education. Career School NY opened for classes in October, 2005. It was created to bring Staten Island something that our community had surely lacked; Skilled Trade in Allied Health, Accounting, Personal Enhancement, and Specialized Trade.
Business Accounting, Cosmetology, Esthetics, Medical Assistant with Internship, Medical Office Assistant with Internship, Electrical Assistant & HVAC and Introduction to Plumbing featuring creative programs for careers that are still in high demand. All our curriculums are structured to ensure that students receive skilled training in every aspect of the trade covered fully and in depth.
Located in the business district of Staten Island, one block from Borough Hall and the ferry, trains and buses our school’s programs are designed to allow students the maximum amount of time to practice their skills.
Students spend part of their day in lab rooms and the student salon, spa or workshop working on their theory and practical skill to build self confidence & self-esteem. There is creative instruction that allows students to express themselves artistically.
Students are given every opportunity to explore their unique vision, while a dedicated staff of instructors and administrators are there every step of the way to help them incorporate their own style within the realities of business and commerce. The Business, Personal Enhancement Industry, Allied Health, Special Training Trade, in both the U.S. and internationally, is exploding as reports note that there are needs for thousands of new professionals every year.
